Hi I am Caryn and this is my Journey

I just recently joined Fertility Ties- Its a great resource for woman needing support. I am a professional Figure Skater and the guy is the pic is my hubby! We were in NYC. We live in the US on the East Coast. We have been blessed with a beautiful child, a little boy who is 2. We were so furtunate to conceive him, my OBGyn did not give us much of a chance as I had part of my cervix removed in 2001 due to High Grade Cervical Dysplasia pre- cancerous cells. We conceived really by accident in 2005. We are now trying for # 2. We just assumed one month off the pill and we would have another baby- but that is where our fairy tale ends and our fertility journey begins. To date it has been 12 months of unccessful tries. I have a very regular cycle 27 days, ovulate like clock work but still no baby- This month is our first month working with RE. I am hoping to get good news soon- I am so happy I found this sight, baby dust to all and congrats to all the new and expectant Mommy's

Hi Caryn,

How is everything, any news? We have been trying for nearly 3 years now and it gets more frustrating by the day. We have seen fertility doctors but have had all the tests and have been diagonesed as having unexplained fertility!!! I just wish they had found something because it is driving me mad! Luckiliy my husband and I have a strong relationship and it is not causing any friction. We left it late to try for a family but like you just presumed it would happen.

All is well, we are 2 DPO this month and will just go with the flow- I know how frustrating it is- we also have nothing wrong all counts are great and we did conceive before so who know! bst of luck to you-

Hi Caryn, My cousins wife had the same problem they had tried for over 10 years and had no luck and the docs said unexplained fertility etc, finally they decided to do IVF and the doc injected dye into her tubes and cleared it out (incase there were obstructions), they also found she had mild PCOS and endometriosis, however IVF worked for her in the first go and now she is going to deliver in March. I am so happy for them, they are a great couple. Don't wait any longer make an appointment with a Fertility Specialist or an IVF centre. Wishing you baby dust and keep positive honey...xxx

Hi Caryn!

I just want to wish you all the best in your TTC journey! I know it gets frusterating at times but just know it will happen for you soon! I am so glad you are working with an RE. They are really on top of things and know exactly what to do! I have faith that you get pregnant soon! Just think positive, BD alot and pray! Thats really all you can do! I pray your 2nd miracle is almost on it's way! Sending you loads of babydust, love, hugs and prayers :)

Thanks fro the well wishes... I am 8DPO today, temps are on the LOW side for this month..not sure what to make of it..although all 8 are above the cover line...they have not risen above 98.0

So I am just praying that "different" means good!

I am tryen to learn to understand what temp mean i have been taking it everyam but how and what should they look like and when?

if you have any info that would be great..

I know you said we Ovulat around the same time so I will keep you in my prayers..thanks

I had a second trimester miscarriage in january and am now trying to become pregnant again a opk told me that i was ovulating on wednesday and i had sex that night so wish me luck

Melissa- I am 1 DPO..so its gonna be a bit of a wait-

My DH recently has been diagnosed with sperm problems- ( we have a 2 yr old) so I am not thinknig this month is ours- we basically did not have timed sex- just the night before my + OPK

Thanks and good luck to you..i still have not got a positive on my OPK but i hope i do soon but doing the BD every day or 2 i really hope it's this month i hate the wait..I have a 5 year old she'll be 6 in aug and is wonderful i only iwsh i did not wait so long to try again because the age gap is getting to big!
