If the doctor said you are ovulating there is no way you could be pregnant. I know what you mean by being brushed off, that's why I found a new doctor. If you don't feel you are getting the care and attention you need, don't waste your time (or money!), go to another doctor that can and will help you. Are you TTC?
Thick Uterus Lining

Okay so I had a baby 7 months ago and then when he was 6 weeks I had the IUD put in. After 4 months of having the IUD in I had some problems and had it removed. Since then which was July 18 2008 I have not had period. So I have been taking pregnancy test and I had one that said yes so I made an appointment with my doctor and we went in thinking it was to conferm pregnancy. After being in the office he did not have me do a urine test he just did an ultrasound test told me my uterus lining was think and I was ovulating but it looked as if I am not pregnant because there was no sac. So problem is here that I don't know whats wrong and it feels as if my doctor just brushed it off. I have never had the problem of not ovulating before. If someone can please help me.
Well he said I wasn't ovulating. I think I might go to another doctor but I am so confused I look as if I am pregnant I am having all the signs. As for getting a blood test we have no isurance right now so it would cost almost $200 to and so I have to wait 2 weeks to do it. How my husband feels right now is if it happens It happens. We are not real worried about that part. I myself wouldjn't mind having another baby right now at all matter of fact I would love to be pregnant again.

Much also depends on which IUD you had...wth the Copper IUD if you were having regular periods, then you've always been ovulating..With the Mirena, 30% won't ovulate and have periods because of the hormones involved...
A good sonographer, such as REs, can tell if one has ovulated given how the endometrium looks, and generally it is thick, but appeareance is also important...
Regardless, some Progesterone can be given to induce a period given the lining, and then if no period, then you know you're preggos...
