the ups and downs...my journey so far

Hi everyone!
Just thought i would write about why i am here and what i am going through.
I have a wonderful 12 year old -soon to be 13 year old daughter from my previous relationship. I was very young when i had her- only 18 (barely)..6 years later we tried for another one...it took 5 months but i conceived and 7 weeks later found out it was in my left tube. I had to have emergency surgery and have the left tube removed. This was a very sad day but i had NO clue what it would mean for the future as the Dr didnt explain much to me...FAST FORWARD to now...i am with a wonderful man who has no children..we want one child together..we have been TTC for 12 months...i had some tests done..mainly blood work to see if i ovulate and thyroid checked- all that good stuff..no problems there. I have NOT Had my only tube checked yet which i want to have checked but my Dr has to refer me and will not refer me until DH has his sperm analysed. This has been a problem because his schedule is pretty hectic with work so we are now at this point...waiting to do the sperm analysis...hoping to get in for HSG soon...im on the 12th month now..my cycles range from 29 to 36 days which makes things even more difficult....So thats pretty much my journey in a nutshell. I really like this site so far- im learning alot!
