can taking birth control effect my ovulation cycle? if i start my pill a 6 days after my period ends, the does it change my ovulation cycle?

Welcome to FertilityTies Laurel!!!

The birth control pill is meant to keep you from ovulating, so that you won't have an ovulatory cycle...your period is a result from your pills not having any more hormones which causes this bleed, and thus this bleed won't happen until you start the "sugar pills" regardless if you start the pack 2 or 6 days after your periods starts...
