Well, my husband and I have been TTC since we got married and that was 5 years April 12th. About 3 years ago we found out that the reason we werent having any luck was because of me. I had a large cyst on my left ovary and stage II endometriosis.
I had several surgeries to remove the endo. and eventually had to have my left ovary and tube removed. Recently, I found out that I have Stage 4 endometriosis and a hole in my only tube=(
I was put on lupron shots(which was horrible) for 3 months after the removal of my tube and ovary. And about 10 weeks after my last shot of lupron, I found out I was pregnant. Unfortunately, I developed a blood clot in the placenta which caused me to miscarry at 10 weeks pregnant (November 2006). About a year later my doc started giving me clomid. I took 50mg for 3mths with no luck. So the 4th mth he gave me 100mg...and it worked. I became pregnant but miscarried at 6 weeks(That was October of 2007).
Now here we are our 2nd round of clomid at 100mg....So wish us LUCK!! And Sticky Baby Dust to ALL!!
UPDATE:
I went thru 3 more rounds of clomid and tamoxifen with no luck. I started seeing a new RE in September of 08. We went thru 3 rounds of IUI (October, November and December 08) with no luck. My RE performed laproscopic surgery on me in March 09. He removed more endometriosis and drained a cyst on my only ovary. He was very satisified with the results of the surgery and told me and dh to try on our own for a couple of months and then he would agree to do 2 more iui's.
Fortunately, the first month we tried we got pregnant! I ovulated on our 6th wedding anniversary and we found out we were pregnant a week before my dh's birthday. I am currently 6wks 1day pregnant and our little miracle is due January 1, 2010!!!
