Tempurature Question

July 25, 2007

My periods are very irregular. Last cycle was 21 days long, the cycle before that was 27 days long and the cycle before that was 14 days long. Currently I am on cycle day 20. I have just started charting my BBT; taken at 6:15 every morning, Monday was 95.99, the next day it was 96.03, and today it was 96.43. Could it be possible for me to be pregnant with temps this low? When can I test for pregnancy since I do not have a set cycle length? Thanks!

Unfortunately, not terribly likely you're pregnant with those temperatures. With irregular cycles as yours, it would be very difficult to predict when to check a HPT. I would continue taking your temperature since not likely you've ovulated quite yet (maybe a prolonged cycle) and would continue to have intercourse at least every other night.

Although that's not the answer I wanted to hear, it's the answer I expected after 2 years of trying to conceive. Thank you for your honesty and your help.

After a couple of years, I think it's time you seek the professional advise of an RE who can thoroughly review your history and help you become a Mommy
