taking the ovidrel shot to early?

no, we are doing it naturally. due to my insurance I can not try anything else until January

Are you being monitored by ultrasound for your Follice development.. usually I have been told when to administer the shot by my nurse or doctor.. I do not think its a good idea to take it early, especially if you do not have mature follicles...

We are not being monitored this cycle, we are just using the same cycle days the past times where we were monitored. I have consulted with a dr from SIRM whom said this was ok. I just am worried about using the Ovidrel shot, but I am using OPK, should they be positive before I trigger?

Caryn I am on my second round of Clomid should my doctor have do a mature follicle ultrasound?

Michelle- I am not sure.. I know the trigger makes you ovulate 36 hours later.. but I have always been monitored when using the trigger..

Heather B- Not necessarily , many people are not monitored...unless doing IUI or trigger shots.. if you are just using Clomid and OPK's along with natural intercourse you should be fine :)

Maybe we should just skip the trigger shot this month just incase.

Michelle do you ovulate on your own ? If so then I would say you are ok to use OPK and time intercourse around + OPK..

I am taking clomid and have ovulated on it alone but not everytime.

Caryn- Thanks yea the OPKs have all been negative with taking clomid and the metformin Iono what to do . I just started period today and Think I should ovulate the 29th I have a 30 day cycle
