Taking A TTC Break!

Texas, I'll be doing the same thing next month if nothing happens this time. We have been TTC for 10 months and have the oppotunity to go on another cruise next May...if I get preggo between August-November I can't go due to cruise line rules...the perfect time for a break!...I can enjoy the summer and the holidays without thinking about TTC. We are not going to prevent pregnancy but we are just not going to track my cycles like I have been doing the past year. If it happens it happens. We will pick back up TTC after Christmas and may go back to the doc if nothing happens by then. I am CD4 this cycle and we are giving it one more go before I take a break...my DH said he wants his wife back LOL.

We are kind of doing the same thing we wont be preventing and we will still be exstatic if it happens, we just have a lot going on right now and it is sooo emotionally draining to try and try then have to see a ----- every month you know? So we are just taking a break, how ever long I need to feel like I got a hold on things!

I just had a 49 day cycle! The longest one I have ever had. But we traveled, I started working out at a gym, and I stopped taking my vitamins all around the same time and I think it threw my system off. After that, I was emotionally drained LOL. I said we need a break and right as I was thinking that our family called us about the cruise next year...I said "break time!" LOL

LOL! My longest cycle was about 92 days. My cycles are all over the place and no one doctore knows why. My hormones are fine, everything is fine. my cycles have always been crazy ever since I stared, so Im just gonna take this little break and then go from there! lol!

Mine have never gone over 32 days...So of course I thought "Woohoo" we nailed it this month...HPTs kept coming up negative and so did a blood test...I wa so confused...I got my period on Sunday and am so glad to be starting over and so looking forward to the next 4-5 months...granted nothing happens this month.

well I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers! I know what you mean I am sooo looking forward to this break!

Texas, I am just like you. I used to be regular when I first started my period but since I have been off b/c it has been crazy!! So far my longest cycle was 84 days and that was my last one. I am now on cd58 and no AF yet and got a BFN on Sunday!! I hate having LONG cycles!!
