Dr's and Ladies,

Does anyone know anything about Hyponidd and Inositol? I hear there good to take if u have pcos and ttc. If I take metformin now can I also take thses?

Thanks, any comment on either of the 2 would be greatly appreciated!

May help a little for weight loss which in turn can help PCOS, talk to your doc about taking all of these at the same time, but the combination although maybe good, won't be a cure-all...

Shawnee I have a question? What is your diet like? i ask that because i have a real bad diet and i have pcos..now i am not sure if this will help but when i was TTC and took the met for those

mths..i cut back on my sodas..and that helped soo much..i could not cut back completely but i cut back i would only drink half when i did drink one..and i was drinking like 2 and three a day..so i cut back to about one a day..i hope you can find something that you know that really hurts your diet and cut back because that could help if you are trying to loose weight for your pcos..

FYI the weight loss did not help me ovualte or bring my period..it just gave the meds a chance.because when i was bigger the clomid never worked..but the famera did once i lost all the weight.good luck sweetie..

People with PCOS have different issues so everyone is different..for me my key was the weight loss..

Hi Shawnee, I don't know if this will help, but I was seeing an accupunturist for a while and for women that wanted to lose weight while they were ttc he would tell them to do a 9 day cleanse. The product that he and other patients swore by was called Isagenix. It is a cleanse that you do for 9 days where you do a couple of prep days cleanse days. I believe for 4 of the days (not in a row) you don't eat anything you just drink the formula they have and eat these little tablets that are supposed to surpress your appetite. The other days are the drink formula and a 400-600 calorie lunch. If you get hungary during the day they recommend eating 4 almonds. I tried the drink formula and the tablets that are supposed to surpress your appetite and keep your energy levels up. It wasn't bad, a little chalky to me it tasted like a chocolate milkshake without the sugar, the tablet tasted like chocolate bar without sugar. The patients that I have talked to (about 5 people) have lost anywhere from 7-22 pounds in the 9 day cleanse.

The reason my accupunturist told his patients to do the cleanse, is to rid their bodies of all the bad toxins. One lady in there did the cleanse, 5 accupunture treatments, and a Mayan Abdominal Massage and she had her baby a little under a month ago. I know everyone is different put it was interesting. The down side to it is that it can be a little expensive $165-$200, but you make up for it by not eating and possibly helping your chances of getting pregnant.

I have not tired it is is a little to much $$$ for me, I don't know the exact website, but I would just google Isagenix Cleanse.

Good luck.
