superovulation

Is superovulating a bad idea if I may be starting to ovulate? I don't know if I just got lucky and ovulated earlier this month...since June my cycles (2 months after a m/c) have been 32-35-44-40-28-32 days long...during that time I became very anxious and depressed and still deal with anxiety now (currently on Lexapro) my OBGYN and I are taking about Clomid and I wanted to know if you would have a patient wait longer to see if their cycle regulated or if you would go ahead and try Clomid. Since our last conception it's almost a year and my husban and I are eager to get pregnant again. Also, overall my temperatures have been .2-.3 degrees lower and I was wondering if my antidepressant has anything to do with that.

i have been taking fertility injections and i ovulate every month on my own. Its up to you - my hubby has a small morphology issue so we want to up our chaces every month. I skipped the clomid and went straight for the injectables. It depends how old you are and how long you have been trying, etc. Clomid doesnt have a huge risk of multiples so talk more with your doc but plenty of people take things to super-ovulate even if they are ovulating. Has your hubby had his sperm tested?

I dont know anything about the anti-depressents tho, Dr. Q will !!!

Thanks, Chelsea. I guess I didn't want to jump the gun so to speak, but my dr. knows how much distress I've had trying to conceive again since our m/c. My husband had a good semen analysis but a slightly higher that normal amount of antibodies.
