Has anyone had success after varicocele surgery???? My husdand had it last month. His counts were ok before surgery but the motility was 28%. The urologist said it can take anywhere between 8-12 weeks to see improvements. So my obgyn started me on Clomid for lpd so we can start trying again. I read so much on the internet about varicocele surgery and I hear people saying it doesn't work and some say that they've had success. The urologist said the chances are very high for us to get pregnant. Just seems to good to be true. Does anyone have simular issues?

Yes, these surgeries are controversial, but there are a few patients who do get pregnant after these surgeries
