Success rates drop tremendously after that point that it's almost pointless to continue on Clomid and going on Injectable Gonadotropins or IVF would definately be the way to go to improve your pregnancy rate..

Hi Dr. Q~
As you probably know..we have secondary issues conceiving another. First was quite easy. On cycle 19 now. We did clomid for 5 months and am now on a break cycle b/f probably moving to injectables. Now, I've read that after 5 or 6 cycles of clomid, once success rate drops. Does this mean your odds don't improve anymore OR that being on clomid for so long lessens your chances? Just curious on my chances for this cycle given that I do o on my own and sperm ct is great....
