Success of Home insemination

This might be TMI =). I am on Clomid and the day the opk went +, my dh had an infection so my dh did it in a cup, transfered it in a syringe w/o needle and placed it in me (not all the way to cervix, but inside vagina). We did this 2 days after the +opk as well. Is it the same as doing the deed and what are the chances that I am preggo?
Once I tested +opk, my husband ejaculated in a cup and we had a syringe w/0 the needle. The size was about the 10ml type (about 2 1/2 inches long and 3/4 inch wide). He sucked the semen from the cup into the syringe and placed it inside me (all the way into the canal until only about the top of the syringe is showing so that he can inject the semen to the inside). Once this is done, I elevated my hips for about 30 mins. I did this for 3 days in a row and on the last day, I did it once in the morning and another at night.
My husband works in the medical field, but you can get those in the baby section in the medicine aisle. It comes in a package with some liquid baby medicine.

Please be careful doing a home insemination. There's a lot of likelihood of bacterial infection that way.
