Subchorionic Hemorrhage???

April 17, 2008

I just received the results from my ultrasound that was performed yesterday. It read.......

"There is a tiny curvilinear fluid collection adjacent to the gestational sac, measuring 2 x 11 mm, most likely a small implantation hemorrhage/subchorionic hemorrhage. This is not appreciably changed from the prior exam. "

(it was not noted on the first exam)

It also stated that there is generally no need for follow up.

Has anyone ever been diagnosed with a subchorionic Hematoma?

I am looking for any information.

From what I've read on my results it isn't a cause for concern, but I am going to worry anyway!

subchorionic hematomas are not uncommon, and many times are of little consequence..however, if you have significant bleeding, let your doc know...
