Stopping Endometrin

I will be at 10 weeks this Sunday. My doctor told me to stop the Endometrin (progesterone suppositories) now. She did not test me again to check the levels, and I have not had an U/S for about 2 1/2 weeks. I have low progesterone, and am wondering if this is too early to stop.

Doesn't the placenta "kick in" at 12 weeks? Should I be on the suppositories until then, or is it safe to trust the doctor and stop?

Just looking for some tips, advice, information, or other peoples journeys with this.

Actually the placenta kicks in progesterone about 9 1/2 weeks gestation, so you are totally fine to stop the progesterone now. Also, vaginal progesterone does not show up in the blood levels, therefore, it would not be of any use to check your blood levels at this point.
