We are on our second cycle now, and I think the initial craziness is gone. Which will make things so much better now. Last cycle I went a bit crazy with the HPTs, I will refrain from doing so this month. I have a clear blue easy ovulation test kit now, this will be more comforting than the Answer brand daily strips. About to start the week of trying again.
Well, the time is coming up fast. I am getting nervous as I want to time things just right. Ovulation is predicted to be August 10th. I am confused as to when to try. I think we will start the 8th and try the 9th and 10th and maybe 11th to cover things. Last cycle we tried on the 14th (twice), 16th, and 17th which was ovulation day. Well, we think. My opk sucked. She tested today for opk and there was not a surge. I have more patience now, and will hope and pray for the best. Our surrogate is very patient and will continue to try until she is pregnant. I know that this has been quite emotional for all of us involved. Well, that is all for now, will update as we venture futhur.
Well..mmmmm lol. The OPK is not detecting a surge yet. We tried on the 8th and we are taking a break today. We will try again tomorrow and hope there is a surge. She is supposed to ovulate the 10th, tomorrow..according to the ovulation calendar. I will just keep trying to time this right, it is so difficult.
Still no sign of ovulation. I am hoping that she just ovulation early and we missed it. Possible scenario that I have come up with are..
1. She ovulates early, maybe even during her AF?
2. She didn't ovulate this month and will be late because of it.
3. Unknown
I just really do not know what to do at this point. Just wait. I am not even conidering this month a 2ww because we only tried once.
No sign of CM from cycle day 6 that we know of. That is when we started paying attention. No surge. At this time we are not checking on the OPK every day as there is no sign of cm.

Ok, today I am officially calling this a 2ww. According to the calendar on babyhopes.com , she is at 9 dpo today. She has been nauseated today and almost left work early because of it. We have not tested since the day after start of AF last month. I am not buying tests this time until she is late. I have one test left over from last month. AF is due Sunday the 24th, so we shall see. We did only try on one day this month, 2 days before predicted ovulation, even though we never got a surge on the OPK. We only tested once a day on the OPK.
