I am there with Dr. Q. Something similar happened to me...it ended up being AF for me. You can get false +'s with OPKs. that's the bummer of it!
spotting and multiple positive opks

I have very irregular/infrequent periods. I have been using OPKs. I had a positive about 2 weeks ago. 2 weeks later(now)I started spotting for several days. I have NEVER done this before. I also just had another positive OPK strip 2 days in a row. I went to my OB about a month ago and got checked out. I also had my hormone levels and thyroid checked. All was well. We are trying to conceive and I am not sure what is going on.

Sounds like you're just about to get a period, and after a positive OPK, best not to recheck as you may get further positives which are false...If no period in 3-5 days, check a pregnancy test..
