Spotting After Pap Smear?

I had a pap smear done on August 21st. I had no pain and everything came back normal. 3 days later (CD 18, 3 DPO) I had some very light pink spotting that I originally thought was my period starting early, but it only lasted about an hour and hasn't been back since.
Then I thought that it could be implantation spotting (I hope)... we've been trying to conceive our first child for so long!
Now I'm thinking it could have just been something from the pap... could that be, since the spotting was 3 days after the fact? Thanks!

It seems more likely to be due to the Pap (sorry) since Implantation Spotting by definition starts to occur at 6dpo (this is when the embryo finally is out of the tubes and into the uterus). We're pulling for you, and please keep us posted
