spotting after ovulation

I ovulated on cycle day 19 and on cycle day 23 (4 days past ovulation) I had some red streaked cervical mucous in the morning and in the evening I had a quarter size spot of blood in my underwear. Since then I have had brown mucousy discharge only when wiping after urinating (for 2 days). Do you know of any reason for this? It seems too early for "implantation spotting" or for my period. Thank you!

Implantation spotting is something not recognized by fertility specialists...to have some discharge like this, especially if >35y/o is usually of little consequence...but if any questions, let your doc know
