spotting after intercourse??

for the last 2 weeks I have had light spotting after intercourse. My husband and I are not rough, and have been taking it even easier than usual and I still bleed a little (sorry tmi). What is going on?? We have stopped having intercourse until I can see a doctor next week but I am anxious and would like an answer sooner.

hi katrina, i am 11 weeks pregnant now, but about two months before falling i was having spotting after sex also. It was always 1-1.5weeks before i was due for my period,it wasnt heavy just enough to notice. i went to my doc and she did a papsmear and found it was a inflammated cervix. she said sometimes an infection ie.thrush can cause this also. hope this helps.good luckxx
