Sperm Motility

August 07, 2008

Mt husband was told he had zero sperm motility. His urologist put him on doxycycline for the next 30 days. How could this effect the motility?

Sorry to say but this will not increase motility. Your husband can try taking Fertility Blend for men, or Proxeed, or over the counter L-Carnitine and Vitamin E, increasing his hydration, if none of this increases motility then you will need IVF with ICSI.

hi dr eva

me and my dh have been to see the fertility clinic and the have done blood tests on me 1 on day 28 and the other blood tests were for hormones. they havent come back yet but my dh has to await an apointment for his sperm to be checked.

the thing i would like to ask you is that i have three children all girls from a previous realationship now im with my new dh ive lost 2 babies both at five weeks and had 2 chemical pregnancies. if my tests come back normal could there be a problem with his sperm.

even though he gets me pregnant could his sperm be strong enough to take the growing babie to the next stage.

or bacically just bad luck.

weve been for all the first stages of tests.like,

karyotyping.

miscarriage panneling.

blood clotting issues.

chromosomes (both of us).

i had loads of swabs tested.

i had a pelvic scan.

loads of tests that i can remember.

smear test.

all these came back normal.

so what do you think doctor eva.

im 37 and dh is 40.
