L-carnitine is a amino acid which appears to be essential for normal functioning of sperm cells which helps to increase sperm count and motility. I cannot stress enough to make sure that these things are needed because it can do more damage than help. I would recommend to get his hormones level check and also a Nutritional status done via blood or hair analysis.
You are so welcome not only s/a but hormones and other stuff above...good luck and keep me posted. DR's don't know everything and many of them don't want to be bother also. That is what I learned but they do need to earn the money that they are being pain plus they do need to remember they are in the field to take care of ppl and if they don't like it get another J O B!!!!!!
Thanks angelfish, I will talk to our doc. about getting anothers/a done. It has been since 01/08 since he had one done.
They talked about puttng him on clomid, and then nothing ever came from it from the doctor, because all of his other counts were good...If the iui does not work this month, then we will talk to the doc. to see if there is something DH can take then.
