Sonogram Pelvic or Transvaginal?

Hello. I have a sonogram on Friday to look at ovaries, etc. They told me it was my choice as to which sonogram to do either pelvic or transvaginal. The pelvic I have to have a full bladder and with transvaginal I would not. Does anyone know if one is better than the other or advantages of one over the other. Thanks!

i think you should have a transvaginal ultrasound for with this kind of ultrasound, your doc will have a much better view of your ovaries! goodluck and babydust to you!!!

Tell them if ur allergic to lubs though. They put a lot of it before inserting the wand.

My Dr's don't even give me a choice, just say that transvaginal is better-just a little more invaisive/uncomfortable.

Sounds unanimous! Waiting for the results after the test is done is going to be the hardest part, just like the 2ww :)
