Well I am gonna keep you all in suspense for a little longer because i have some other stuff that happened at the appt to tell!!
So okay they do this very in depth U/S where you see all parts of the body..it is so amazing..
The babies look great but for baby A they have found a little whit spot on U/S on her heart. The Maternal Fetal Specialist says that this signifies that there is calcium that is being deposited in her heart.(notice i said her) Now this is no need for alarm. He said that my blood work came back excellent when I did the NT testing. He said the possibility for me having a baby with a defect it way lower than other 27 year olds. He says that women my age have a 1 in 800 chance of having a baby with defect. He combined with the U/s and the initial blood work I have the risk of 1 in 4000. He also told me to remember that this is a screening test not a diagnostic test and that i could do an amnio but it the risk would not out weigh the possibility of having a baby with a defect. He also said that my chances 1 in 4000 are like if i were 10 year old having a baby..so he said they are super low..he also said that he sees no other signs of any defects such as thick neck folds, fluid in the ventricle of the brain or fluid on the spine. He said that 99.9 % of these cases that they see turn out to be nothing and clears on its own and attribute it to a problem that the mom or dad had when they were younger. As he said this i remember that when i was in elementary school i had a heart issue where i had to where a heart monitor for 2 weeks and it cleared up on its own. and he said that that is most likely what it is..and my mom said this also..She said that i had an irregular heart beat and a murmur but it cleared with age. My Dr did not notice it unitl i was about 10 during a school physical..So i am not too concerend about this we will have another u/s in 4 weeks..but the maternal fetal Dr is has reassured me and i go to one of the best if not the best high risk pregnancy practice in the richmond, va area. Oh and i had a question I recently started drinking a glass of milk a day and they did not see this on my last U/S do you think this could be what the calcium came from?
Okay on to the good stuff..Sorry for the supsense ladies but i was at the soon to be in laws running my mouth with them...

you ladies are the best!! The girls were just moving around so much and beng so stubborn..just like daddy..i said wow they are truly their daddy's girls!!
Linae i think thiws may mean boys for you..My heart bests today were for baby b-155 and for baby A 145. Baby B weighs 9 oz and baby A weighs 10 oz. My dr said that they are right on schedule and where they shold be..and she also said that she has never had a set of twins that are measuring right on target with each other..so that was reassuring..
My stomach she said is measuring 25 does anyone know what that means..I forgot to ask..

AWEEEEEE YAY more sets of Girls!!! wow - Liane yeah we're going to let you bring in the boys!!! i'm so excited about the lil princesses!!! everything is going to be just fine with the babies like Dr. Q said!!! Enjoy the pregnancy now - hee hee its starting to get a little rough. i can handle the big ole belly =it's the contractions, itching (omg it's horrible) and the leg cramps. hopefully you will be lucky and not have these!!!!!! :) i think i'm the lucky few that gets EVERYTHING! haha

Congratulations SUMMER!! Two beautiful little girls! I can't wait to see pictures when they are born! That is sooo exciting!!!
Oh, and when your doc said you were measuring 25, that means 25weeks. For each increase in number is the estimation of how far alon you are. But since you have twins, it is normal for you to measure larger! So you are right on track!!!

Aww Summer congrats sweetie! I can not believe I was right with it being 2 girls! That was the first time I think I have ever been right on guessing the sex! I'm so happy for you sweetie and I'm sure everything will be fine with the baby! It sounds like you have an amazing doctor and sounds like it's just a genetic thing that clears up on it's own! So thats great news! Wow, I cant believe it's 2 girls! How exciting! And their names are beautiful!
Yep I was right, im super excited and I know its going to be great, and they will come out super healthy!
Hubby will have his hands full with watching out for 2 girls, as we all know how we can be...haha, but I hear having girls is just soo rewarding for guys. Not that having a boy and doing all the boy stuff isnt, its just a totally different thing for a man to have to be in control of the life of a little girl and raising her.
My hubby always says he wants a girl and then says he doesnt care either way of course, but I think that he really wants a baby girl, but if its a baby boy, he will be super excited cause hubby is soo amazing at doing everything, and cant wait to teach a son that :)

My fiance was unable to go to the appt with me because he had a meeting at his job..well i called him and was like you said that you was not gonna be upset if you got two girls right and he was like nah..i am happy with whatever..and he was like well what is it and i was like i just told you..lol..and he was like well you better have them redo the U/s just joking of course..he is funny..but he was like i can't believe i am not gonna have a little lawrence running around..LOL..and he was like what am i gonna do with all these girl in my house..and i was like spoil us..and he was like i got no choice you gotta spoil daddy's little girls..so he is so excited..
