This will be my 5th cycle(2nd fresh) to try for our second child. This journey has been tough, We were blessed with our daughter now 2yrs through IVF on our very first cycle. And now it's been a year + and counting that we are trying for another. Everytime we try our little embies just won't stick. I want so much to feel a life inside me again. I want so much for this time to work.....but I'm almost expecting to her the famous phone call saying "I'm sorry". We've always put in 2 embies so maybe we will try 3 even 4. I just want this time to be our last...I feel like my husband after this might give up. I guess I just have to se how this month will be and see what the Lords plan will be.

HI schonell, Good Luck on your IVF transfer. Hope you get it on the first try!!

If you don't me asking, what is your fertility history? I am about to embark on IVF soon & would like to know your story/

my story is of one of....shame. i say that because i feel and know i did this to my self. in college I had a boyfriend that...of course cheated and gave my PID. Pelvic inflamatory Disease. so fom this it caused very bad scarring on both my tubes and there fore blocking them completly. So I had no choice but to do IVF.

so years later i though i treated a cured the PID but didn't know of the scarring till I got married and we were trying. i later found out form haveing a laperoscopy surgery to see if i had anything wrong and was then told about it. so about 8 months later we tried IVF and got preger with my daughter on the first try. we transferd two eight cell embies and she took!! so now 2 years later....and 5 cycles later we are hoping for our second. I am now in the 2ww in this cycle and test Nov 15th. we transfered 4 this time to increase ur odds since it's been this long road for us.

So when do you start?
