Single Mother by Choice

I admire your courage and determination to start a family! Good for you! I didn't find my dh until I was 36 and often thought about having children on my own because I wanted that so bad! We are now expecting our first child in Feb. via IVF. I will be 40 in November!!

I wish you much success in your journey and you never know...you could find your prince charming along the way.....but you are a strong woman and I'm sure will make a wonderful mother! I love your screen name too......so true!!

What a great thing! I always wanted to be a mom and always thought if i had to do it alone i would so i can understand your feelings!

I didnt have a dad in my life and i think now that i missed out on some pretty cool things that dads may bring to the family dynamics, howerver, i had some other manly figures in my life that helped me out. So just remember to have some good, strong male influences in your child(rens) lives and you will be a-ok!

I enjoyed being a single mom...no one to steal the baby's attention...got him allll to myself. Nothing greater than that. Then later I met my husband, who's bday is the same as my son's. We did everything backwards...:O)

I honestly think that every gal ought to get a puppy first - you know, to practice on! My dog has trained me that whining and pleading will get me *nowhere* with canines and, I suspect, babies :-)
