Side effects on Clomid

Emma.. Clomid effects everyone differnt. Sometimes ppl dont get side effects until after they finish the clomid.

The first time I had several hot flashes, the next four times, nothing. Everyone is different. You could have nothing this time and it could be hell the next. Each person & each cycle is different.

Yeah suppose I should be greatful. I just think that because I can't feel anything its not working. haha.

I know how you feel. Especially with all the hassle my first time around. Does you doctor to ultrasound the ensure that you ovulated?

No ultrasounds, I will just be using OPK's.

I'm sure it is working. Just keep track with the OPK's. Keep me posted on ovulation. Do you take on days 3-7 for 5-9

I started to take it days 2-6. I read that there isn't much difference and I couldnt wait any longer lol.

I think I spoke to soon. Today I have been having hot flashes and a slight headache. How long after taking the last tablet should I ovulate? When should we start BDing?

You should ovulate 5 to 7 days after your last tablet is taken. Do you have some sense of when you ovulate? If so, you should start bd'ing at least three days earlier.

I took Clomid for the first time this cycle (am currently 10dpo) and I had no side effects. The one thing that was noticable was the serious cramping i felt on my right side on the day of ovulation.

I have no idea when I ovulate, I have PCOS and dont have regular cycles.

I am not an expert but I would start bd'ing 4 days after your last tablet and continue for at least 10-12 days (can do alternative days of course).

When taking Clomid, does it have to be taken at the same time everyday?

it doesn't have to be but i took it every evening and i think that was key to minimizing any side effects

I had my last tablet yesterday and I keep having slight twinges where my ovaries are, is this normal?

Emma.. yes that is normal.. Clomid give u more FSH and more follicles so the clomid is working.

When u take the last pill then count 5-7 days after that and u should O around that time.

I would suggest that u get some OPK's soon so u know when u do O.

My OPK's are at the ready. Lol

I am 4 days pIUI and stuck in the 2 ww.....

Sorry I ahve another question:

I an on CD 9 now and finished taking Clomid 3 days ago, I am now having no side affects what so ever all the cramping as gone, is this normal before ovulation?

Emma.. yes that is normal hun. U will get the O pains soon and ur + OPK should come soon also.

Clomid can cause u to have some cramping also so dont worry to much about that either.

That is good that u hae no side effects from the Clomid yet.Lets hope it stays that way.

I have also heard that Clomid can make CM hostile, will using Pre-Seed help the sperm?
