Should I just do IVF?

I’m 42 y/o and my Ob want’s to do an IUI, but after researching the internet, I’m pretty disappointed with the pregnancy rates, do you agree with my Ob’s recommendation

Yeah, unfortunately fertility rates at the age of 42 are very low, and although an IUI may be able to do the trick, most likely however, it's not likely to work. I would strongly recommend IVF for you immediately for you to have a reasonable chance to achieve a pregnancy.
