Should I bee worried about brown spotting after intercourse?

A friend of mine spotted after sex too. The doctor told her this is normal and if it isn't "red" and cramping isn't involved, then everything is probably okay. She's 32 weeks now : ) I'm sure everything is okay. When a good heartbeat is detected at 6 weeks, I read from Dr Q that miscarriage rates drop to 6 to 8%.
