Short period?

My period usually last 5 - 6 days. I have heavy bleeding the 1st 2 - 3 days. On the 31st I started my period, but I'm not bleeding as heavy as usual, I'm even thinking it will stop tomorrow. Also the blood isn't as bright. It seems like this will only be a 2 day period. Before I stared my period my hubby and i did "it" again in an attempt to conceive. I heard the sperm can live up to 5 days inside the woman. Could it have been the sperm interupted my cycle somehow?

If this is happening just this cycle and never before and if ur next cycle is ok too then I wouldnt worry abou
Also, u say u "did it" before u started on your period. Well, u cant get preggo if u have sex just before ur period starts. There are only a couple of days each month when u can get preggo if u have unprotected sex, those fertile days are typically 12-16 days before your next expected period start date. Sperm on an average lives 2-3 days during the fertile time. Other days, it dies immediately due to the acidity of the vagina.
No sperm cannot interrupt ur cycle. Ur cycle is determined by harmones and when your ovaries release the egg that month.
