short luteal phase/late ovulation

December 07, 2007

I have been ovulating around day 22-24 of a 31 day cycle, so around 8 or so day luteal phase. What can I do to increase my luteal phase? I'm wondering if Clomid might help? We also have male infertility issues-low count but have had one child 3 years ago.

Clomid helps with the luteal phase along with Progesterone supplementation given after ovulation...You may also benefit from an IUI if you're having trouble, and would talk to your doc more about this...

Clomid (Clomiphene Citrate) is a medicine RXd by the Dr to help women who dont ovulate to ovulate and women that have unexplained infertility and ovulating to ovulate better and stabilize the luteal phase a lil bit along with Progesterone.
