If thats the case. Then, March 13 DLP, April 12 DLP and now 9 DLP. Should I consult my doctor? And will the spotting prevent me from sustaining a pregnancy?
Short Luteal Phase?
May 04, 2008
I had a miscarriage followed by D&C in Jan. Since then I have had a shorter cycle, but regular. Starting in March I had been having a 26 day cycle. I have notice March, April and May I have started spotting anywhere from 6 dpo-10dpo. Do you stop counting the luteal phase when spotting occurs or when flow starts. March 10 day LP, April 8 day LP and now 5 day Lp. What should I do?
If you're actively trying to get pregnant, then you should let your doctor know that you're concerned about your short luteal phase. 12 to 13 days isn't that odd, and this 9 day one could be a fluke, but there's no harm in letting your doctor know.
Personally, I think my short cycle was what made it difficult for me to get pregnant. My doctor put me on Clomid, and I got pregnant on the first try.
