Sharp pains
May 05, 2008
Hey everyone! 3 days passed IUI/Ovulation and counting. Saturday, the day after my IUI I had pretty severe sharp pains on my left side, (that's where the 2 biggest follicles were) then later on that evening I had the sharp pains only a little bit lighter on my right side (where the other 2 follicles I ovulated were). Do you think that means anything? Of course this early on I have no symptoms of pregnancy yet. I had very strong ovulation pains all day on Friday. Then the short sharp shooting pains on Saturday. Just over analyzing I'm sure but I was curious if anyone knew about those sharp shooting pains...???
They were different pains than my initial ovulation pains though. But it was the day after I ovulated! I hope we both get BFP's this month! Are you BB's sore? Just curious... That is how I always know when I pregnant is cause they hurt so bad. And they are bigger. WOW girl! 2 more days, you can actually test today on a home test because you 12 dpo right?
OH SO YOU CAN TEST BY YOURSELF WEDNESDAY THEN? THEN A BLOOD TEST FRIDAY? I CAN TEST ON A HOME TEST AT 12DPO/IUI, THEN I AM ALREADY SCHEDULED (PROVIDING I DON'T START) FOR A BLOOD TEST ON 14DPO/IUI (5/16). I GO IN THIS FRIDAY (7DPO/IUI, 5/9) FOR MY PROGESTERONE LEVEL TO BE CHECKED. IS THIS HOW YOURS IS BEING DONE? AND HOW ARE YOU FEELING? IS YOUR CHEST SORE? ANY DIFFERENT FEELINGS AT ALL?
I tested last time at 12dpo/iui on a digital. I got a BFP within 15 seconds! It was fast. I don't like those 2 line tests. I hate playing the guessing game. So I buy the one's that say pregnant or not pregnant. Who wants to guess if that is a dark enough line or not. NOT ME! LOL! I say test again with tomorrow morning first urine of the day. Then you will get a more accurate response I think. Especially if you have been drinking water all day long. Do you have any symptoms at all Carolyn?
Sorry but I was just looking at the calendar and AF for me is due on May 13th. I have a 26 day cycle usually no matter what. So on 12dpo I will be one day late, same exactly as last time. I'm never more than 2 days late on my period so I usually know something is up if I don't start. I'm telling you though my chest is what gives it away for me. That's why I'm curious if your chest is sore. I'm sure all pregnancies are different... But both of my pregnancies have been the same with my chest. It's not sore at all right now. I'll be looking for that sign more than any others.
I tell my husband that all the time. We went in a few weeks ago to get a bunch of blood taken so they could run the chromosomal tests. He was complaining about how he hates to get his blood drawn and stuff. I let him have it LOL. I said well how about you go get all these vaginal sonograms, get the blood drawn more than just occasionally, take all the fertility shots. Boy did he shut up fast! LOL
U are too funny Dana OMG!! Good for u! My dh doesn't complain, but he does look really drained when he has to give his sperm specimen right before my IUI. He tells me that he's tired...poor baby has to look at "magazines" and have fun! Women have far more things to go through than a man!! They just have to provide healthy sperm...which is so easy for them LOL
Yeah it's pretty ridiculous what we have to go through verses what they do. But my husband doesn't complain much. He was just going oh I hate this. I know how he feels though because i'm not much on needles at all. TTC has toughened me up quite a bit. My husband thinks it's going to be crazy when I do get pregnant and deliver, he said you don't have a tolerance for pain at all. I said you don't even know what we have to go through so I don't want to hear it. They really are clueless!
