September/October 2009 IVF - anyone want to join me???

I am sorry to hear about your ectopic! I also had an ectopic and lost a tube in May, it was after my 1st IUI. I had my second IUI in July but my right ovary is dominant and my right tube is gone so I just ran out of patience! Now on to IVF!!! AHHH I am done with my BCP on 9/7 start stims 9/11 will have ER the week of 9/21. I'm so excited but so nervous too!!! I went for my IVF class on Tuesday to learn how to inject the meds ,etc. I go next Thursday for my sounding. I am just hoping this whole process goes smoothly and we end up with a BFP!!! It sounds like I'm about a week ahead of you but we are cycle buddies!! I am also doing Follistim.

I'm gonna join just cuz im hoping we will be doing a transfer in Seot but i know its more likely to happen in October or November but one can hope! lol

I'll follow you all but mine will be different since i am doing egg donation IVF this time around. I have done 2 rounds of fresh IVF and now onto ED. Hope this is it for everyone!!

Rose, you have a September 21st retreival date, so you will be literal cycle buddies with Waiting. How awesome!

Hey Chels! How have you been? How much different is an ED cycle than if you were using your own eggs? Is it still a fresh cycle? Would you do it just like a FET cycle since you wouldn't need to use stims? Do you have to wait for the donor to be ready to go through the process before you will know your IVF calendar? Sorry to ask so many questions, you of course don't have to answer if you don't want to. Either way, I'm so excited for you!

I'm thrilled to have other people to go through this crazy IVF rollercoaster with! It's amazing what we will do to our bodies for a little bundle of joy! Totally worth it if it works though, right?! Hoping for lots of BFP's and sticky beans ladies!!!

I'm actually choosing to do it like a FET so I don't hv to take any meds. I cd do a fresh cycle but I wd hv to match her cycle with meds like b/c pills and lupron. I am not good with lupron so what will happen is she will go thru the IVF and then at retrevial they will call DH in for fertilization then they will freeze embryos. Once I surge they will hv me come in for transfer. I'm waiting to hear where in her cycle she is now and it's so hard to wait!! lol

Meg: By the time May rolls around I will probably have the knowledge of an RE and should be able to open up my own practice LOL
