Semen Analysis

I AM MARRIED FROM LAST 2 YEARS BUT MY WIFE COULDN'T CONCEIVED. I DID MY SEMEN ANALYSIS WITH ACTIVE MOTILE 35% AND SPERM CONCENTRATION 32.54MILLIONS/ML. WE MET A DR HERE. SHE ADVISED ME TAKE UBIPHENE(CLOMIFENE UBIDECARENONE) FOR 3 MONTHS. MY WIFE IS HAVING A NORMAL MONTHLY CYCLE OF 26-27DAYS. PLEASE SUGGEST ME THAT UBIPHENE WILL WORK TO IMPROVE MY SEMEN ANALYSIS AND MY WIFE CONCEIVE OR NOT???

Hi,

If you have hypogonadotropic hypogonadism, Clomiphene can increase the sperm count...The semen analysis doesn't look terribly bad to begin with, so will it help to conceive? we hope so

You can always try the Clomiphene treatment first as recommended by your Doctor, and see how that goes for a few months....if not then evaluate other options with your doctor, but clomid (clomiphene) does help sometimes... other options would be trying IUI (artificial insemination), you can always ask your doctor about that.

Hi Dheeraj, have u discussed the option of IUI? If your Dr thinks the sperm count is not great, ask her abt IUI..Also, get a repeat Semen analysis after taking the Clomiphene to see if it helps..Try not to shower in very hot water, wear boxers and not tight briefs, these may help you.
