Salads during pregnancy...

Yeah as long as you dont eat it all the time.

I will go and get cold subs here and there. Maybe once a week or so. Other then that I get steamed meat stuff or do it myself. But I LOVE LOVE LOVE cold subs, so its hard at times...haha.

phew thanks...i already placed my order after i read on the internet that its not good to eat pre-packaged salads and i had to eat it since that's all i had for lunch.

There is so much stuff out there that they say is good and not good, and just so long as you dont eat the not good (minus sushi), all the time I think you will be totally fine.

I hear not to eat Hotdogs, but if they are steamed and splitting open I hear its fine. I had my first hotdog @ 20weeks pregnant, cause I was so scared, and now I know as long as they are steamed and busting open or grilled really good then its all good. Same with deli meats and stuff, so long as you steam them its fine, but again if you have a cold sub here and there im sure you will be fine :)

Thanks Jolene. I really wanted a hot dog over this holiday weekend but i had some willpower. I'm too afraid to loose this beanie baby that i'll adhere to anything guidelines they put out there. I really want a turkey sub but have held off on that too. A friend of mine ate lunchmeat and hot dogs throughout both her pregnancies and her babies are awesome. By the way, congrats on the baby boy, i love the name Noah!!

I think you will be just fine eating a hot dog. You just need to make sure you heat it to where its splitting open basically. If you do that its safe. No need to worry.

The only BIG thing to stay away from is Sushi and your soft cheeses and stuff.

Im the same way with this little guy, it took us to long to get him, but come my second trimester I did start having some caffeine, which I 100% avoided until I think my 18th week. I was scared to death to have any.

I know you will be just fine, just dont eat the stuff ALL the time, and everything will be great!

How far along are you now?

Yes we are soo excited about a baby boy. I thought the whole time girl girl girl. Then the last week before the ultrasound I changed my mind to boy. I just had that feeling and it was a for sure feeling...haha. I think im actually more excited its a boy, then a girl for some reason. I dont know why...haha. I just want to have my little soccer boy and little golfer and stuff. Hubby is going to have so much fun with him, and im so excited to watch, cant wait :)

Im so glad you like the name Noah too...I just love it, its great :)

Hi Jolene..i'm 7 weeks 5 days today. I have another u/s with my RE on Wednesday (i'll be 8 weeks 4 days) then she'll release me to my OB/GYN which i can't wait for. We have a name for a boy, Colton Troy (Troy is my hubby's name) Brensinger but I keep going back and forth for a girl name, I like Peyton, Riley, Sara Grace, just to name a few. But we still have time to decide!

Sara Grace Brensinger...sounds awesome. (of course I'm partial to the name Sarah) lol

Love the boy name very cute. I love all the girl names as well. I like Riley Grace a lot since one of my good friends daughters is Riley Grace.

We had a name picked out for a girl, Bella Marie (wasnt to sure on middle name but first name Bella probably), we had no idea for a boys name. Then once we found out a week later is when I started looking at bedding and stuff to make my final decision and saw the name Noah written in one of the rooms, and I was like that is it, he will be Noah Austin. I love it :)

Anyways you will come up with a perfect name when you find out!
