Robitussin Days 1-16???

I'm interested to know too! Never heard this before!

Me too SUnny.. not sure why so early. I started it on CD10 and continured until I got my + OPK then quit.

I am not sure why so early either, but cd 16 makes sense...a lot of people o late on clomid. Let us know how it goes! :) OH, at it has to be the robitussin that only has the decongestant in it!

Sunny.. that is right. There cant be any other active ingrdents in it..Spelled that wrong. LOl!

I want to know the answer to this question also....Like ttcers starting clomid on CD3-7 and ttc a girl I was told that using Robintussin wasn't good because its alkaline and only boys survive this environment, any advise anyone?

Maybe it's so that it can really get in your system and work. I'm not sure, but I would follow doctor's orders... :)

my doc said something aboutit too but he said its more of a precaution cuz some ladies get dry from taking clomid.

You will go thru lots of that nasty stuff so be prepared, i went thru 2 bottles and i was only taking it since day 8 or 9 i think. lol!

hi i have question about the robitussin i have the one for cough and the other says cough dm im not sure if either of them are the right ones and if so what cd should i start taking it.the active ingredient on the robitussin cough is dextromethorphan hbr &usp 15mg cough suppressant the robitussin cough dm has dextromethorphan hbr,usp10mg, & guaifenesin usp100mg please help im so confused with what robitussin to take if i keep buying them i will soon have stock in the company and yet again not the right one thanks

LELE... no those are not the right ones hun! U need to get the Robitussin that is not DM or cough. It has nothing in the ingredints but the guaifenesin and thats it.

uhoh! Mine has 15mg of Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide & 200mg of Guaifenesin.

I'm so confused! None of the Robitussins only had Guaifenesin. This one says DM Cough COntrol Extra Strength.

Sunny- maybe you should just get Mucinex that has 600MG of Guaifenesin.. and its a pill.. no yucky medecine taste

Ok just went to that site and I see the expectorant that I was told to look for in this cough syrup but how many teaspoons do you take a day and how many days before ovulation? I was told once you detect your ovulation to stop taking it immediately! I need to know if its ok to taqke this while on clomid and using preseed?

OMG, I just read that Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide causes birth defects & should not be used for fertility. THANK GOD I have not used it yet, I am going to return it & just get the Guaifenesin pills. Thank you ladies for bringing this to my attention!!

Sunny.. its just the regular Robitussin. Not the one that is the DM or for cough. Just the plain Robitussin.

ok so i just got thr right robitussin 5 stores later and 4 wrong brands but i did get it and i just took my first dose im on cycle day 10 i dont know if i should have taken it now but i did and iwwwww i dont know how im going to take this everyday does anyone know when i should stop taking it i go friday for a sono and will probably o early next week then i will go for iui i hope this is it its bad enough getting a negative month after month but the thought of taking robitussin and still getting a negative makes me belly hurt i will have to take pepto lol but all jokes aside thank you and i am feeling positive this month

yeah its really gross i cant believe i have to do it all over tomm not looking foward to it im trying to think what ican chase it with i tried water no good but when i have to take it i will just think baby baby baby and that makes it all worth it

you can stop taking it after you get your +OPK, the day after is fine
