Robitussin

Hi Janet! This is the one you need regular Robitussin and make sure it has Guiafenesin...that is the stuff that helps with cm.

It says Robitussin for chesty coughs. It has 100mg of Guaiphenesin and 30mg of Pseudophedrine. Is it the right one?

You have to make sure the only active ingredient is the guiafensin. You could also use mucinex xtra strength in pill form.

as long as it has Guiaphenesin in it you are good....god I hate cough syrups.....lol...

There have been lots of posts on this topic, maybe do a search. I swear I read the only active can be guaifensin...so check into it. I liked the Mucinex Xtra Strength.

should be the same, but it's actually the guaifenesine in Robitussin or any product that contains this active ingredient that does the trick
