Retroverted Uterus/Testicular problem
July 18, 2008
Hi There:
My husband and I have been trying unsuccessfully for two years now. I have had ultrasounds, a laprascopy, blood tests at various points in my cycle and everything is normal. My husband has had a semen analysis done, also normal.
We do have two complications one - I have a retroverted uterus could this be playing a role in our infertility?
Two - my husband has only one testicle as he injured the other one playing hockey in his teens and had to have it surgically removed - could this be a factor even though his semen a analysis was normal?

A retroverted uterus especially in your case shouldn't cause fertility issues, and if there's enough sperm, which there usually is, then this is not an issue also...
Consider having more aggressive treatments done by an RE now, as it appears that Unexplained infertility may be the diagnosis here
