Retrieval update

June 12, 2008

Just got home. I nauseated to no extent! LOL It went smoothly. They recovered 19 follicles...of those 15 can be fertilized...they are hoping for 7 embryos.

Apparently my u/s were showing the follicles to be big..but some of the eggs aren't quite mature. He said it just may be the reason we haven't conceived naturally again.

Should know tomorrow whether its a day 3 or 5 transfer!

Thanks ladies..u guys are 2 sweet! 7 embryos I will be happy with yes..but just worried b/c of a lot of them being immature..so here comes the waiting game!

Carolyn..if I have 6 or less embries..they will transfer 2..if I have 7 or more and at least 1 is grade excellent..it'll be a single transfer.
