Your prolactin levels are on the high side. They only way to know for sure is to have them check them again.

They would place you on meds.

Tina, last time the prolactin was in the 300s right? As Kan says its high..A re do of the prolactin is a good idea and your Dr may place you on meds to reduce it or do an MRI.

I am not sure abt this, but ask your Dr if prolactin is high because of the pregnancy and m/c.

150 is high Tina...ask your doctor about this and perhaps some further testing!

Hi Tina you're prolaction needs to be below 25 ng/ml. Get your dr to redo the test and if they are above 25ng/ml you can be placed on meds and those numbers will go down. It's ok just return to your dr and get retested and if above 25 get the meds and everything will be ok:))))...good luck!!!

Hey Tina, I read this in ur pervious post..Thats why I say ur prolactin seems to be coming down if this 260 was also taken recently.. In any case, its high and needs to be evaluated.

Ahh there you go..See we have different units of measurements in the US..Sorry your Dr can only tell you abt this..May be you can do a quick search on the internet

Tina..everything is possibly normal. The units of measurements are different in Australia and USA and thats a huge determining factor if your values are normal or not. I would just browse your local google for 'normal prolactin levels'. Dont worry. Ur Dr knows what he may be talking about.

See Tina, there you go..I would look up a local lab's website and they may have the normal range..I look up my lab acllabs and they have every test and the normal levels in their website.

Tina.. i told u early that everything was fine hun. LOL! Ur ok and everythign is where it needs to be hun! If ur still worried then I would ring the doc back adn talk to them again adn get them to tell u the exact tests that they did and teh #'s again so ur not confused hun.

But I really think that ur fine hun!
