Resting Follicles

Hi today my RE did a sonogram. I've been on Premarin for 18 days now. She said the size of the ovary has grown. She found 3 resting follicles on my right ovary and one on my left. Is this a good sign? She wants me to stay on the Premarin till the 2nd of Sept. Than she will try me on Clomid. Can you tell me a little bit about clomid? Thank you
