menstruation started maybe four days later after getting a positive reading on an ovalation test. We are going to try again and see if the same thing happens, if it does, would this be a case where we would have to do IVF?

Is there any type of Conception problem/term, when the female body rejects conception when the male sperm penetrates the female egg causing her to start menstruation?

There are circumstances that we see in the lab that sperm fail to penetrate the egg, leading to "rescue ICSI", which leads to poor fertilization rate...Since conception didn't occur however, menstruation would regardless start about 14 days later
