Red Spotty Blood on TP? Implantation or Sign of Yeast Infection?

Hi sding.... I have had a problem with yeast my whole life and it sounds to me like a yeast infection. I would sometimes get very "raw" and sometimes have blood. I would def. see if your doc could squeeze you in today. The longer you wait with this, the harder it could be to get rid of and I def. know what this is like. Hope you feel better and keep me posted!

RN would work. They all should know what yeast looks like under the microscope. I hope they get you in sweetie! I have been down this road and I know how uncomfortable it can be....

Even though I no longer have any discharge it could still be a YI?

I'm hoping that it was implantation! but I have a strong feeling (From reading) that it was a YI. URGH. I guess all that extra BD'ing did it.

I have had raging YI's that I had no discarge at all. I could be wrong but, It sounds all to familiar to me. I just would hate to steer you in the wrong direction but I have dealt with these FOREVER and it sounds to me like a YI.

I'm pretty sure it is something.. I'm having some slight itching this morning. It never smelled fishy but yesterday I had a "soapy" smell. Is that a symptom?

BD can sometimes change your ph and cause a YI. IDK. My YI problems are non existant when I am preggo so it's been awhile for me since I have had one. I read your post earlier this week and I know that some of the girls thought this might be normal which they could very well be right! I know that this time, when I got pregnant, I had a YI that lasted from about the time of Implantation to at least 20 DPO. Some say it can be a sign of pregnancy but I know that most doctors would tell you that. You have a lot of hormonal change so I am not sure??? I sure hope for you that it is implantation. After a little while mine would always have a different smell, Almost yeasty (like dough) (Sorry TMI)

No, it literally smelled close to what "Dawn" Dish Soap would smell like... LOL

I am really hormonal and I've never had a YI before so I'm really hoping that all of this leads me to a BFP but if not.. I've learned so much about my body this month and I'll be better prepared next month. I have so much respect for all of the women on this site that do this month after month.. I don't even feel comfortable complaining if it doesn't happen for me this month.. it is my first time trying!

Ive never had a YI except for the month I got peggo and then thruout the pregnancy. I never had blood and with a YI, you wont be bone dry. U will have yucky CM all the time and the blood (per my Dr) would be present in the CM in the form of streaks meaning it came out from the vagina and not brown blood itself like it came out from inside the cervix/uterus. Theres no way EWCM can show up after ovulation. If the discharge is thicky and clumpy with itching, its a YI. Get rid of it before u get preggo lol

towards the end of my pregnancy, I had no discharge or itching, but the YI could be seen during a culture test. But this early on, I think the discharge would be present.

I'm wondering if the EWCM that I thought I saw was indeed what you mentioned before.. sperm mixed with Creamy CM. It wasn't a whole lot and it was yellow tinged. I only saw it that one time and I was checking myself like crazy. I only had Creamy CM and then a couple of days after that I started having the CM that I'm thinking could be a YI. It doesn't smell or itch really (I was having a little itching early this morning but nothing since) I'm just going to get it check just incase. But no.. I have zero CM. I'm very dry it is so dry that it is kind of hard to check myself. I am not having anymore blood at the moment.

I'm halfway thinking it was a YI but just to be safe I'm going to the doctor. I don't want to find out that it is a YI over the weekend!

What is that test that they can do to dsee if I ovulated? Is that the Hcg test?

They do a Progesterone test at 7 DPO to see if you ovulated. Its best it be done 7-8 DPO coz only then the progesterone value has some significance in relation to ovulation. Just doing it on day 21 of the cycle is useless unless you ovulated day 14.

I actually think I AM 7DPO today.

I had a period on the 9th of May, The 6th of June. I was on BCP so I had a regular 28 day cycle. So I think I may have ovulated on the 20th rather than the 23rd. What made me think it was the 23rd was that very small amount of EWCM I thought I saw.. but as it turns out that may not have been EWCM.

I'll just let the RN decide what tests.. I'm clueless.. The only test I really want is the one that says "Hey.. You're Pregant! " LOL

:)) this sounds like a good sign! I was abt to start on Clomid that cycle since I had PCOS and they wanted to make sure I wasnt preggo so got a blood teest done. the RN calls me and says : hey you're preggo' LOL

That happened with my first child. My first husband had a tumor on his pituitary gland that caused him to produce NO testostrone. The put him on a case study for gonal f. I was going in for a Lapro. and they tested me for pregnancy to be safe. They came in and told me that they were unable to do the lapro because I was pregnant.. I literally fell out of my chair. Our chances for a successfull pregnancy were not good at all... so I've never really had to try. My dauhter was my honeymoon baby. I found out I was pregnant 4 1/2 weeks after marriage. I've never planned a pregnancy and I'm just hoping that it happens.. We will see. I have another doctors appt on July 3rd so I'm sure if I am 7DPO we cudl tell by then? I'd be 13DPO by then..

Well I'm back. From just looking at the Swabs under the micro it doesn't appear that I have a YI but they are still going to send them off.

I took a blood test which I knew (and did) come back ----! They also did a Quantive and I'll get the results for that either today or on Monday.

The RN said things look good. I was running a temp of 99.4, my cervix is closed, Cervix does not look red, swollen or irritated so more than likely that was just an abundance of CM.

I feel better. So now I just wait.

I'm pretty positive that I am 6/7DPO today. I'd guess 7DPO.

As far as the spotting goes.. the RN said she didn't see blood on the vaginal walls... so she said it was possible that it was implentation but could say for sure.

Lets pray that it was and that come next Friday when AF is supposed to come.. IT WON'T!

No Jfields.. I'm glad that you did. I was suspecting that it was a YI. I've never had one (although I learn today that most women have them and don't even know.. ) It could still possibly be a YI.. there was a little bit of white discharge at the tip of my cervix but not much in fact she said she had a hard time collecting because there was so little. Still.. She says that means nothing and the lab results could reveal that it was indead a YI. She said that if I did have one I was most likely on the tail end of it so even if I do have one.. that was good to hear. I won't get the lab results until monday afternoon/Tuesday morning.

I'm still feeling really nauseous, boobs are now starting to tingle and are tender, I have wierd blue veins that are starting to form from my shoulder/arm pit area to my breasts and light ones on my chest area.. They could have been there already and I didn't notice them but Hubby says NO.. "He KNOWS my breasts" He says. LOL So I don't know if that is a good or bad sign but she also said that I showed no sign of a sinus infection (I was thinking I may have one with the headaches behind the eyes, ears hurting a little and my throat feeling like it has gunk and I'm constantly having to swallow.. plus my nose is runny.. With my fever being a low grade fever I thought I was probably coming down with the flu.. That could still very well be the case.. Who knows. I'm just going to wait for July 3rd. I have another Doc. Appt and we'll test again.
