I was wondering if the following things are true:-
1. What's the probability that the baby might turn into rhe right position after 37 weeks? I know the chances could be less as there is less room for baby to turn by 36-37 weeks but wanted to know what's the percentage likelihood of this happening.
2. If the baby is in breech on 36-37 weeks, do you think it's okay to wait until you have the labor pains/contractions before scheduling a C-section? I wondered why my friend was advised to take the c-section at 37 weeks.
3. The doc said one of the many reasons for a breech baby is the entangled umblical cord around the neck and in that case, it may not be safe to wait. - Is this the case?
4. Do you think it's safe to do the stretches/postures that might encourage the baby to turn to right position after 36 weeks? I know it may not always work but is this safe? I know that earlier, docs used to turn a breech baby into the right position.
Just wanted to get your thoughts on breech position babies and what you would recommend, should this happen.
