I'm 26 and just about to start my journey of trying to get pregnant. I am meeting with my specialist next week to discuss my plan of action. Currently I do not have a monthly period and haven't had one for six months. I have to be given medication to bring on my period. At one point I was diagnosed with PCOS, but then a year later, my family doctor said that I was mis-diagnosed, so I'm not really sure what to believe. I have also been diagnosed with insulin resistance.
This is all new to me and I'm sure I'm going to have millions of questions to ask. I'm feeling quite nervous as I feel like a lost puppy dog and don't even know where to begin. Hopefully my specialist will be able to guide me along.
I am very happy to have come across this site as it seems to be very informative. Hope to learn a lot and to share stories with others out there that are going through the same thing.
Good Luck to everyone that is trying to conceive!
