Question about molar pregnancy and hCG levels

I just read that elevated hCG levels can also indicate a molar pregnancy.. something that wouldn't necessarily be detectable at my first ultrasound...

So, I haven't had any other symptoms of molar pregnancy. If I am not carrying multiples, how worried should I be that it is molar and not just a normal healthy pregnancy with high levels?

Again, my hCG was 22,192 at 5 wks 4 dys

Molar Pregnancies are quite uncommon and you most likely have a normal pregnancy Meghan. a molar can be diagnosed with an ultrasound...and we're very hopeful that you're going to be ok...

Hi Meghan ur not alone, Most of the time Im a positive person, but ever since this pregnency, my harmones are driving me crazee and I only imagine the worst case scenarios, now Im adjusting to this and even if I get such doubts, Im trying my best to shrug it off.

Hi Meghan,

I just read your post about a possible molar pregnancy due to high HCG levels. I was wondering what ended up happening if you don't mind me asking. My HCG level is high also. At exactly 4 weeks mine was at a 693. The normal for 4 weeks is between 5-423.
