question about HCG trigger shot and washed sperm

Thanks for reassuring me that an orgasm won't affect the embryo implantation. That's very reassuring coming yourself, a trained RE. Thanks again.
Another question, when does ovulation take place after the hcg trigger shot. I took Ovidrel 250 mcg on Sunday at 9 p.m. and my IUI took place at 8:15 a.m. on the following Tuesday, just shy of 36 hours after the Ovidrel shot.
Also, if implantation takes place, how soon would that happen and would there be signs? Is there anything I can do to encourage implantation? Hopefully fertilization has already occurred.
Also, just curious, how long does washed sperm survive in the uterus and fallopian tubes after an IUI.
I hear conflicting views on this. Some say 6-12 hrs and other fertility clinics say 24-72 hours

nothing can truly be done to increase implantation unfortunately...and yes, washed sperm can survive upto 3 days
