Question about CM and ovulation

Hi Dr. Q,
Does sticky, clear-whitish CM mean I've already ovulated? My cervix is still high and open, but I'm noticing this morning that my CM is a bit sticky and not very stretchy, a bit lotion-like. Also, if it means anything, I had some mild cramping last night. Do you think these signs point to ovulation last night/early this morning? Does CM change right away, or does it take a day or so?
My lmp was on Jan. 10 (though I spotted on Jan. 9).
