ive just got opk but im not a 100% sure how to use it

Linzi.. u use the OPK from 10 am to 7 pm. U pee on the stick like u would if u were doing a pregnancy test.

Then wait and u will be able to see if it is + or not.

im getting the systoms before my periods

should be just like a preg test! pee on the stick! (but read the instructions)...i would start testing on day 11 or so...first thing in the morning

if it is ovulation pains then u should get it about 13 to 14 after ur period.

i mean im not quite sure when the best time of the month to use it,i have periods every month but exactly the same dates

Linzi.. u should start using them around Cycle Day 10 until u get a +. After u get a + then dont use anymore until next month.

i have the clearblue digital opk and it tells you to do it on the afternoon and not pee for aleast 4hours before doing the test

thats the bit i dont understand what do u mean cycle day 10 do u mean 10days after my period or before?thats what i dont understand

Linzi.. cd 10 would be 10 days from the beginning of ur period. SO when u get ur period that would be CD 1 and count from there.

yes that is every month and keep testing until u get a + and then stop testing until the next month.

i have pcos u see to tell you the truth i dont even think i am ovulating been to see my doctor and hes not going to test me or start me on ant medication till ive been trying for at least another year its so frustrating

Oh ok. How long have u been TTC? Y do u think that u have PCOS?

if im still having periods round about the same every month do u think i could be ovulating?

i got tested about 1 1/2 years ago and it showed on a ultrasound i have cyst on my overies and a few other systoms that go with pcos me my fiancee have been together for 2years and never used anything to stop me getting pregnant but its only been last couple of months weve actualy been trying
